Robert "Bob" Henry Sieck, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Henry Sieck, Sr. – an 83 year-old native of Poweshiek County, Iowa and longtime resident of Mobile passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Mr. Sieck proudly served in the United States Navy, the National Guard, and the United States Coast Guard. He retired from the Mobile Police Department as a Corporal after many years of service.

Mr. Sieck was preceded in death by his parents, Henry William Sieck and Ceclia Frances Novotny Sieck; sister, Linda Jordan; and daughter, Lisa Sieck Moore. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandra Smelley Sieck; son, Robert Sieck, Jr. (Michelle); step-sons, Joey Foster (Mandy) and Jason Foster (Jennifer); siblings, Lester Sieck (Nancy), Leroy Sieck, Roger Sieck (Kathy), Larry Sieck, Becky Cline (Glen), Ronnie Sieck (Lisa), Regina Sieck, Loretta Ledvina (Tom), and Loren Sieck (Jean); grandchildren, Kimberly, Morgan, Laura, and Maggie Sieck, Chris Smith, Kelly Blackmon, Jerry Moore, Jr., Tanner, Gracie, Cullen, Katelyn, and Alex Foster; great-grandchildren, Aerie and Rosie Kilburn, Canaan Smith, Aryia and Bentley Blackmon; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday, May 16, from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West.
