
Ronald Warren Wilson passed away July 1, 2015, he was a lifetime resident of Mobile, AL. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Graham Wilson Jr., and Lois Pezent Wilson. He is survived by his wife Deborah Cooley Wilson, brothers Donald Wilson (Sheryl), Paul Wilson and Larry Wilson, two stepchildren, four step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Ronald attended Forest Hill School, Crichton, Barton Academy, Semmes, Shaw High School and Faulkner State College. Ronald was a U.S. Army Combat Vietnam Veteran. He proudly served in the Infantry, First Cavalry Division as a grunt. He worked with his father and brother at Wilson Monuments, a family owned business for years. He retired spending time with family and friends. He finally succumbed to a long fought battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday July 6, 2015 at 2PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12 until 2PM. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West. Honorary pallbearers will be Chip Dungan and Frank Tolbert. Active pallbearers will be Mickey Finley, Danny McLean, Chuck Oakley, Robert “Pee-Wee” Bagley, Dewey Wilson, and Lawrence G. “Larry” Wilson III. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Rockville Baptist Church, Jackson, AL, St. Lukes Episcopal Church, Mobile, AL or St. Mary’s Home for Children Mobile, AL
