Roy Eugene Griffin, a native of Hawton, AL and was a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama and a recent resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. He was retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 37 years of service. He later retired from Azalea City Golf Course after 25 years of service. Mr Griffin was a member of Howard Lodge #69 F&AM, Abba Temple Shrine and VFW Post 49. Mr. Griffin served in the US Navy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Stimpson Griffin; two children, Rodney(Debbie)Griffin and Ricky(Gina)Griffin; three grandchildren, Karley, Rachael and Rayna; five great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Abigil, Titus, Colton and Eden, and other relatives, and many special friends. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 12 noon. Visitation will start at 10 AM. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery
