Roy E. Wilkerson - A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Wilkerson was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army; he worked in Civil Service at Brookley Air Force Case and was retired from Mobile County Sheriff’s Office after 19 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mrs. A. Jeanne Wilkerson, his children; Ricky Wilkerson, Ernest Wilkerson, David (Julie) Wilkerson and Timothy (Brenda) Wilkerson all of Mobile, his grandchildren; Christy Wilkerson (Simon) Fox, Kevin D. Wilkerson, Gino C. Wilkerson and Jeremiah Heim, his sisters; Cecile Jeminez of Virginia, Barbara Ann Hilton of Mobile, AL and Dolores Cemson of Florida, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be on Monday, May 5, 2014 from 10:00am to 12:00pm with service at 12 noon from the graveside. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in his memory.
