Sally was very petite in stature, but larger than life in many ways. She was a devoted wife, loving and steadfast mother, thoughtful and generous grandmother and great-grandmother, and a loyal friend. Sally was a role model for strong women and lived her life with a servant’s heart.
She is survived by her husband, Byron E. Green, Jr., M.D.; children, John Byron Green (Julie); Amy Green Hartsfield (Chip); James Antone Green (Laurie); her grandchildren, Evan Michael Hartsfield (Annie); Harris Clark Green, Anne Riley Green, Larson Clark Green; her great-grandchild, Elijah Martin Hartsfield; brother, Raymond John Clark, Jr.; sister-in-law, Dora Green Noble; and many nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
Sally’s final resting place will be in the St. Paul’s Memorial Gardens where the family will hold a private memorial service. A Celebration of Sally’s Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sally’s memory to the Mobile Medical Museum, 1664 Springhill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36604 where Sally spent many tireless hours working, or to any charitable organization that touches your heart. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL.
