Sam Clanton Fulford

Sam Fulford Clanton - a 90 year-old native of Hartford, Geneva County, Alabama and a resident of Mobile passed away Friday, August 15, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Europe during World War II as a member of the 180th Infantry of the 45 Division. After the war, he served as a field investigator for the U.S. Treasury Department until his retirement. Mr. Fulford was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Louise Fulford. He is survived by his son, Michael S. Fulford; sister, Mildred F. Sisson; sister-in-law, Sarah D. Bochenek; neices, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
