Sarah Evans Gardner

Sarah Evans Gardner – a native and resident of Mobile, AL departed this life surrounded by her loved ones on September 12, 2012, at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Nevie B. Evans, and brother, James A. Evans, Jr. Her memory will be cherished by her husband of more than 45 years, Richard Gardner; four children, Melissa (Rob) Hoffman, Rick (Cindy) Gardner, Tesa (Patrick) Gueret, and Sherry (Mike) Nelson; 10 grandchildren, Jacob, Alec, Madison, Trey, Faith, Joshua, James, Noah, Brandt, and Hayden; siblings, Elaine (Rick) Sullivan, Hal Evans, Billy Ray (Vickie) Evans, Karl (Debbie) Evans, and Mickey Evans; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, September 14, 2012, from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 15, at 10:00 a.m. with Dr. Brett Burleson officiating. Interment will follow at New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery in Millry, AL at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Ferguson officiating.
