Sarah Frances McDonald

Mrs. Sarah Frances Brooks McDonald, a native of Meridian, MS and a long time resident of Mobile, AL, died on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.

She was recently preceded in death by her best friend and husband of 64 years, Charles Duncan McDonald.

Frances was an avid Bridge player, a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America, former Regent of the Mobile Chapter of the DAR (Daughters of American Revolution) and received an Honorary Life Membership from the Presbyterian Women from Spring Hill Presbyterian Church in 2008.

She is survived by her son, Charles (Barbara) McDonald, Jr. and daughter, Mary Margaret McDonald; 3 grandchildren, Wilson (Kristy) McDonald, Elizabeth McDonald, Nathan McDonald and brother -in-law, Owen (Angela) McDonald.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pamela H. Pettway for her kindness and devotion to Mrs. McDonald.

Graveside services will be held on Monday August 20, 2012 at 11 AM in Pine Crest Cemetery. Memorial Services will follow at 12:30 PM at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church.
