Sharon "Michele" Gates

Sharon “Michele” Gates, age 45. A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at a local hospital. She was a 1982 graduate of Mobile Christian and a 1986 graduate from the University of South Alabama. Michele has touched the lives of countless children & families and will be truly missed by all. She was employed with USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital as a Child Life Specialist and was over the Tree House department. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Michele is survived by her parents, Bradley and Janelle Gates of Mobile, AL, her aunts, uncles and many special and dear friends including her “Best Friends”, Elizabeth Smith and Pam Denham. Her favorite canine companion “Tucker”. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers family request memorials be made to the Mitchell Cancer Center, USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital, Christ United Methodist Church or to the Animal Rescue Foundation.
