Sheila loved spending time with her family, and coming home to visit with them was always such a fun time for her, especially for her birthday and Christmas. She started life off in a challenging way - not being able to walk until she was 4 yo. Despite her physical and mental challenges, Sheila faced each day with a positive attitude, turning her adversities into strength and determination. She was very outspoken and learned early on in life how to stand up for herself. She was a happy person and had a remarkable way of melting your heart with her sweet smile and contagious laughter. Sheila Frances had quite the sense of humor and could also impress you with her level of intelligence and her impeccable memory. She loved coffee, ice cream, fried fish, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and especially, Dr. Pepper. Her hobbies included listening to music, watching movies, and playing on her computer. Most importantly, Sheila was an amazing and loving person. She never dwelled on her own wellbeing. Instead, consistently, her focus was the genuine concern she held for others. She taught everyone around her about the love and struggles of life. Yet, no matter what, Sheila was honest, through and through.
Sheila will be remembered, loved, and missed each and every day by all her family and friends. The lessons learned from her will continue to keep us humble and bless our lives forever and ever.
