Sherry was born on January 10, 1956 in Bayou la Batre, Alabama to Robert Lyons, Sr., and Mary Joann Havard. She was a charter member of the Krewe de la Dauphin Mardi Gras organization and rode in the parades every year since its inception. Sherry loved Alabama football and she loved to cruise with her husband Russell on their favorite cruise line: Carnival.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lyons, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Mr. Russell Cain, her mother, Mary Joann Buerckley, her children, Candice Hudson (Allen), Chad Ladnier, and Chaze Cain; her grandchildren, Christian Wolford, Madison Ladnier, Max Ladnier, Zoey Cain, and Mason Ladnier. One brother, Robert Lyons, Jr.,(Terrie), one sister, Ginger Lyons Bumpers, and a host of fur babies, family and friends that will truly miss Sherry.
