Shirley Gwin Phillips

Shirley Gwin Phillips - an 88 year-old native of Bessemer, Alabama and longtime resident of Mobile passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was a longtime active member of West Mobile Baptist Church.

Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Henry O. Phillips, and son, Mark S. Cooper. She is survived by her children, Michael Phillips (Ida), Kenneth L. Cooper, and Gary Cooper (Michele); grandchildren, Chris Phillips (Nicole), Brittany Cooper, Bryan Cooper (Megan), and Ashley Hester (Shawn); 7 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held from West Mobile Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church from 9 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery West. Condolences may be offered at www.pinecrestfuneralhome.com.
