

Sue was born on October 7, 1930. She lived a long life filled with faith, devotion to family, and service to others. Her greatest joy was found in her love for God and her family, and she faithfully served at Harvest Time Assembly of God for many years.
Mamaw was known for her warm heart and generous spirit. She loved cooking for her family, friends, and church, gathering everyone around the table, and spending time working in her yard. Whether through a meal shared, a conversation at church, or time spent with loved ones, she made people feel welcomed and cared for.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, L.C. Champion and Davis Flint; her sons, Roger Champion, Larry Champion, Ricky Champion, and Kenny Champion; as well as her siblings.
She is survived by her son, Scotty Champion, daughter in law Pam Flint along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and other family members who will continue to carry forward the love and memories she shared with them.
Funeral services and visitation will be held at Harvest Time Assembly of God on Tuesday March 24, 2026. Visitation for Family will start at 9:30 a.m., friends at 10 :00 a.m. and the service will begin at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
