

Thomas was a student at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. He was an avid sportsman playing baseball and football. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, muddin' and country music.
Thomas was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Hinton.
He is survived by his loving parents, Tom and Becky Harlan; two sisters, Courtney Harlan and Morgan Harlan; maternal grandmother, Annette Hinton; paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Jane Harlan; paternal great-grandmother, Anna Croom; two uncles, Bill (Traci) Harlan and Jim (Carol) Hinton; two aunts, Karen (Gary) Day and Sharon (Justin Lucas) Johnson; his cousins, Hunter Hinton, Jeremiah, Justin, and Jason Johnson, Nikki and Jackson Harlan, Dylan and Jacqueline Day; and other relatives.
The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Friday, July 6, 2012 from St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will be in Rocky Creek Cemetery, Lucedale, MS.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the McGill-Toolen Baseball Program in memory of Thomas Patrick "FRED" Harlan, Jr. His family asks that in honor of him, all of his friends carry on his fun-loving, lively spirit which he shared with so many.
