My memory of Tommy is that he would always be reaching out to everyone to keep in touch.  He loved to be around his family.  He was a loving and funny person, and a definite joy to be around.  He will be missed.  

 What is a true friend? A true friend is someone who really knows you and loves you just the same. We have great memories of Tommy, our very good friend of thirty years. All of our camping trips on the river bank. Tommy was always cutting up and making us laugh. He loved playing music and singing around the camp fire. Those are our best memories. Tommy was a good person and had a giant heart. We loved Tommy and will miss him all of our days. We pray he will find peace and happiness wrapped in the wings of an angel. Love always! The Martins

 We have many good memories of Tommy. Some of them include waking up with the sun rise to here Tommy announce loudly "GOOD MORNING USA" and splash as he jumped in the river. To going up the Bayou Sara creek late at night in a thick fog with Tommy leaning off the front of the house boat yelling "AFLACK AFLACK" because we had no fog horn. We were all part of several families and  friends called the Happy Campers in the 90's. We helped each other make it through good and bad times together. Still friends even though we went our separate ways in life. We never forget people who care for each other like the Happy Campers. This being among the better things in life. Uncle Tommy and I had a special bond because we are both “crabs”, both born in July.  He hardly ever called me by my name. His name for me was “Little Crab” and he was my “Big Crab”. He will be greatly missed! 

“Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy”

I knew him very little as there was a big age gap but I remember going to his wedding and my mother (Judy) talked about her cousins all the time. I pray that you all find peace during this hard time. 

This man..... he was always the sweetest to me. I will miss getting to the shop in the mornings & hearing, "Good Mornin Smiley". That's what he always called me.  Kenny looked up to him & I know he's gonna miss him dearly. We love you Uncle Tommy!
