Timothy James O'Rourke Sr.

A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL. Timothy served in the US Air Force from January 1954 to October 1957. He received an honorable discharge. He worked 33 years with the US Civil Service and retired from Keesler Air Force Base working from a mechanic and finishing out as a Shop Supervisor of the Sheet Metal Department. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parrish. Timothy was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years of marriage Claudia Locke O’Rourke, also his parents, Thomas James and Maybelle Bentley O’Rourke. He was also preceded in death by all of his sisters and brothers; Owen, Johnny, Catherine, Thomas, Mary, Pat and James. Timothy is survived by his children; Timothy James O’Rourke, Jr. (Debbie), Mae Theresa (Resi) Smith, (Donald), Colleen Elizabeth Hill (Randy), Gregory Locke O’Rourke and Matthew Bentley O’Rourke, eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from our lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Thursday, December 18, 2015 at 11am. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at 7pm. in Lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 1621 Boykin Blvd. mobile, AL 36605.
