Towan Nyoker Nelson Leonard – a 62 year-old native of Detroit, MI and current resident of Mobile went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Mrs. Leonard retired from Ford Motor Company after 32 years of dedicated service. A very family oriented person, she was a dedicated wife, mother, and foster parent. A devoted Christian, she was a member of Cody Road Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Leonard was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Mae Nelson. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Billy Leonard, Jr.; children, Cynthia Cargill, Markeelin Cargill, Alicia Cargill, Kayla Leonard, and Elicia Leonard; grandson, Brenden Cargill; many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Saturday, May 30, 2015, at 4 p.m. Interment will be held in Michigan at a later date.
