Van Buren Sowell

Van is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Sowell; children, Robin Sowell (Manuel Barrera), Jacob Sowell, and Matthew Sowell; brothers, Paul Sowell and Terry Sowell (Susan); grandchild, Brittany Powell (Zach); and great-grandchild, Scarlett Powell.

Van was preceded in death by a son, Van Sowell, Jr.; father, Burie Woodrow Sowell, and mother, Lizzy Estelle Odom Sowell.

A Visitation for Van will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571.

A Graveside Service will occur Friday, October 16, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 34904 State Hwy 225, Spanish Fort, Alabama 36527 followed by interment.
