Vaudy Holley, Sr. - an 83 year-old resident of Semmes passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hattie Holley; sisters, Myrtle Lee, Cecial Creamer, Olga Rawls, Bertha Aplin, Jac Hoover, and Lillian Anderson; brothers, Comer Holley and Gilbert Holley. Mr. Holley is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Grace Hard Holley; sons, Vaudy Holley, Jr. (Karen), John William Holley (Ramona), Steven K. Holley (Lisa), Richard T. Holley (Robin), and Tony Holley (Patricia; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, November 8, 2013, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
