Virginia McAdams Walton

Virginia McAdams Walton was born on April 20, 1925 in Mobile, AL and passed away on November 27, 2017 in Mobile. She was preceded in death by her parents Arnold M. McAdams and Siddie Fontaine McAdams, a sister Dolores McAdams Battiste and a son Terry Richard Walton. She is survived by her daughter Diane Walton Summers (Glenn) of Mobile, AL; and her sons David Arnold Walton (Karen) of Daphne, AL and Mark Stephen Walton (Pam) of Mobile, AL, beloved nephew Billy Battiste of Mobile, AL, 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Government Street Baptist Church in Mobile, AL. She was a graduate of Murphy High School in Mobile, AL. She retired as the Concessions Manager from the Village Six Theatres in Mobile, AL and owned/operated the King Theaters concessions in Mobile, AL until 1971. Her warm smile and personality made everyone feel special. Her joy was to travel. She visited over 30 states, as well as Mexico and Canada. She also enjoyed six cruises to many Caribbean ports.

The funeral service will be held on Friday December 1, 2017 at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00 am at the Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
