Native Mobilian, Walter English Jr, son of the late Walter English Sr. and Alma J. English, passed away Friday, January 08, 2016. He is survived by Juanita B. English, his wife of forty-three years; two daughters, Verdell Gettins of Mobile, and Gwendolyn (Henry) Davenport of Atlanta; three sons Donald English of Mobile, Corey (Angela) English of Los Angeles, CA. He is preceded in by his deceased son, Larry English. He leaves to cherish his memories three devoted step children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; three sister, Annie Ruth Andrews Bailey of Mobile, Catherine (George ) Moody of Overland Park, KS, and Betty (David) Ferguson of Douglasville, Ga; and two brothers, Edward (Elouise) English of MN, and Leonard (Brenda) English of Mobile.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home & Cemeteries in Mobile, AL.
