Wanda Lee Woodard Cleckler

Wanda Lee” Cleckler, age 83, of Washington County, Alabama went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2016. When she passed she was surrounded by her family and lifelong friends. She was born on September 21, 1933 born to Mamie and Monroe Woodard, who preceded her in death. She was married to her loving husband, Orville Cleckler for 48 ½ years before he went to be with Christ. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved her great-grandson, Michael Paul more than anything in this world. Eating ice cream and spending money were her other two favorite things. She was cared for by her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Jessica and Colby Owens in their home where she was loved and spoiled. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, Orville and great-grandchild, Baby Owens. She had three sisters Dot (Bob) Hull, Mary Worsham and Juanita Powell who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her granddaughter Jessica Owens and grandson, Michael Paul Gafford. She has one surviving sibling, her brother Henry (Sonny Boy) Woodard. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and many friends and loving church family. The family would like to say thank you to the nursing and care tech staff at Saads Hospice for their care and support.

Funeral services will be held Full Gospel Tabernacle Charity Chapel on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour before service. Interment will be in Charity Chapel Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL.
