William "Bill" Arnold Davis Jr.

William “Bill” A. Davis, Jr. – A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, died Friday, April 29, 2011, in a local hospital at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his parents, Toby Mae and William Arnold Davis, Sr. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Bobbie Davis; four children, Clayton (Jamie) Davis, Kathryn Davis, Leon (Mechelle) Davis, and Donna McAleer (Bart) Furrow; his siblings, John (Barbara) Davis, Toby (James) Messer, Debbie (Wayne) Jackson, Otis (Jo) Davis, and Karen Davis; twelve grandchildren, Jade, Jasmine, Myah, and Cody Davis, Robbie and Deanna Paz, Jordan and Logan Davis, Cub and Maegen McAleer, and Jason and Matthew Furrow; three great-grandchildren, Marlee Lofton and Madisen and Brayton Furrow; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Sunday, May 1, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
