William "Bill" Rogers Estes

William “Bill” Rogers Estes, 80, of Mobile, Alabama passed away surrounded by his family on July 16, 2020. William was born in Mashulaville, Mississippi on May 31, 1940. He was the son of the late William and Viola Estes. William married his best friend Ann Pierre on December 5, 1959. They were happily married for 60 years. William was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved his family. In his spare time he enjoyed to fish. He was also a longtime member of Woodridge Baptist Church. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. William is survived by his wife, Ann; his son, Roger Estes (Sonia); his daughters, Tammy Hobbs (Edd) and Rhonda Lewis (Scott); his grandchildren Rebecca Howard (Clint), Blake Estes (Brittany), Jessica Bryant (Matt), Brooke Estes, Michael Lewis (Amanda), and Carrington Lewis; his great grandchildren Julia Kate Evans, Hudson Howard, William Kye Estes, Henry Howard, and Klayton Lewis; his brothers Kye Estes (Betty), Johnny Estes (Brenda), Butch Estes, Gary Estes (Sharon), and Rick Estes (Cindy); his sister, Virginia Loper (Jerry). William is preceded in death by his parents, William and Viola Estes and his sister, Sandra McMorris. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00, followed by chapel service which will begin at 12 on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama. Shortly after chapel service friends and extended family are welcome to attend graveside services at Pine Crest Cemetery West.
