

William "Bill" Kenneth Kilcrease, 87, of Grand Bay, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 15, 2018. Born August 11, 1930 in Glen, Mississippi, he was the eldest son of the late James William and Lydia Kilcrease. Bill married his high school sweetheart, Peggy Carpenter Kilcrease, who is his loving wife of 66 years. In 1963, he and Peggy moved to Grand Bay, and he worked at the Chevron Pascagoula Refinery as a Maintenance Supervisor for 30 years. A devout Christian, Bill was a founding member of the First Presbyterian Church of Grand Bay, established in 1965. A gifted artist, Bill also owned and operated the Grand Bay Art Center for 23 years. After retiring, Bill loved traveling through Canada and Alaska in his motorhome with Peggy and their beloved dog, Buddy. In fact, he was fondly known around Grand Bay as "the man who walks the little white dog." Along with his wife, Bill is survived by his son, David (Kathryn) Kilcrease; three grandchildren, Angie Kilcrease Broun, Ashley Kilcrease (Jason) Parham, and Hayden Carpenter Kilcrease; and two great-grandchildren, Dillan Ready and Breanna Broun. He is also survived by his sister, Nelda Kilcrease (Doug) Lay of North Carolina and Ronald (Mary Ann) Kilcrease of Louisiana. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Terrell "Terry" Kilcrease. Bill's memorial will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 with a visitation at 10 a.m. and service at 12 p.m. at Radney's Funeral Home located at 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606.
