William Carl Norton “Red”, 66, passed away on July 5, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Mississippi on July 5, 1958. Carl was an accomplished carpenter and skilled craftsman. He had an artist’s soul – he was a talented artist and loved carpentry and painting. Carl enjoyed fishing and the Alabama Crimson Tide. He loved his family and his many pets.
Carl was preceded in death by his Mama; his stepfather, Ray; sisters, Sandy and Elizabeth; and brothers, Micheal and Joseph.
He is survived by his sisters, Helen Monceaux, Marie Myers, Sharon Dishman, Traci Smith, and Karen Norton; brothers, Charles “Eddie” Norton and Billy “Junior” Norton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Carl will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Pine Crest Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama 36605.
