Arthur Lombardi, age 80 of Monroe, passed away Wednesday November 5th at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Born February 22, 1934 in New York, Arthur spent his younger years serving in the U.S Army as a cook. He was later a tin knocker by trade and was in the sheet metal workers union. He retired early to pursue his hobby of restoring classic cars. He spent most of his retired life in his garage passing down his knowledge and love for cars to his two grandsons. He leaves behind his daughter; Regina Lombardi of Shelton, his two grandsons; John Lombardi of Monroe and Justin Lombardi of Bristol, a brother; Charles Lombardi of Monroe, daughter in-law; Teri and grandson; Clifford Lombardi, Jr. He is predeceased by his wife; Margaret Lombardi and his son; Clifford Lombardi. Visiting Hour will be held Monday, November 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Funeral Service being held at 7:00 PM, at the Spadaccino and Leo P.
