David was born on January 28th, 1948 in Joliet, IL to Alvin “Al” Kollmann and Maxine “Mickie” Heather Kollmann.
David wore many hats; as an Attorney, DIY guru, friend, coach, mentor, uncle, and golfer, but most importantly a devoted Husband, dedicated Father, and proud grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Karen of 37 years; his 5 sons, Kyle, Bradley and his wife Daniella, Justin, Evan, Trevor, and his Granddaughter Kennedy Juliet Kollmann.
To many, David has always been a role model and friend. To us, he will forever be a loving Husband and supportive Dad.
All are invited to a visitation for David on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son, Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, Connecticut 06468. A funeral service will occur Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Grace Episcopal Church, 175 Old Tannery Road, Monroe, Connecticut 06468 followed by a Private burial celebration with Family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David’s memory may be made to St. Peter’s Grace Episcopal Church.
