She was born on June 15, 1938, in Bridgeport, CT. She follows her parents, Jean and James Graham and her 2 brothers Jimmy and Brian Graham, who predeceased her. Delores leaves behind many who loved her including her husband of 62 years, Glen Smith, her 2 daughters Joycelyn Smeraglia and Lara Sandberg, her granddaughter Gianna Smeraglia, her sons-in-law Michael Smeraglia and Kevin Sandberg, 2 sisters-in-law Karen Graham and Theresa Graham, many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends and her beloved dog "Baby Gunner."
Delores had a way of making everyone feel welcome in her home. She loved to entertain and cook and no one ever left her table hungry. She was blessed to be able to travel to just about every continent in the world and the many countries contained therein. She leaves behind an amazing legacy.
Because of the increased threat of COVID, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held in her honor at 11 am on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Jude's Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe CT, and all are welcome to attend. There will be a private burial for her with her immediate family.
