Ines Torres, wife of the late Jose R. Torres, was called by the Lord on February 5th, 2016. She was born in Havana, Cuba on April 20th, 1918 and came to the United States with her family in 1966. Ines and Jose were married for 74 years. She worked at Princess Pat but what she loved the most was taking care of her family and making them a home filled with love. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Terry Velotti and Ines Posada. She leaves behind her grandchildren Ryan Arias, Maritza Arias Matlachowski, Trudy Dodge, Miryam Kuligowski, Luis Posada and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Travis Arias.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 at 11am at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike. Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Monroe. Visitation will take place on Thursday prior to the mass from 9:00am- 10:30am at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
