

James Adam Hough, age 64, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2014. Jim was born on January 29, 1950 and was raised in North Versailles, PA. He and his family moved to Monroe, Ct in 1984, where he lived for more than 30 years. Jim and his wife, Sue, recently moved to an active living community in Prospect, CT. Jim was an engineer and inventor by trade and worked at Pitney Bowes as a product quality and reliability engineer for 29 years. During his time at PB, Jim was a featured speaker at the Reliability and Maintainability Symposium. He was awarded Best Tutorial of the Symposium in 1999. He was also a recipient of a patent making him a bona fide inventor. Jim spent the last 4 years working at Sikorsky in Stratford. Jim was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather who loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Jim is survived by his wife Susan K. Hough, 2 sons Mathew Hough and his wife Shari, of Oxford, Ct and Christopher Hough and his wife Amy, of Wesley Chapel, FL. Jim was a dedicated grandfather of 4, Peyton, Aiden, Alexis, and Aaron. Jim will also be missed by his dedicated dog, Amber. He is also survived by a sister, Priscilla Megela and her husband Rich of Littlestown, PA and a brother, Paul Hough and his wife Tricia, of Lititz, PA. A Memorial Wake will be held on Friday November 14, 2014 from 4pm-8pm at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Monroe, on Saturday at 10:30am. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Jim.
