Judith (Kurowski) Petrino of Monroe entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Manor. She was born on September 5, 1936 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Helen (Shuika) and Joseph Kurowski. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Petrino.
Judith graduated from Bassick High School. She also attended Western Connecticut State College and graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
She was a teacher in the Monroe school system in the late 70s and early 80s.
She is survived by her daughter, Kyle Petrino and her husband, Bob Pruner. Other surviving family members include nieces and nephew: Colleen (Patrick) Hurley, Darcy Hall, Tara (Richard) Spicer, Shawn Talbot, and Stacey Mitchell.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 1pm at St. Stephen Church, 6948 Main Street, Trumbull followed by interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Moose Hill Road, Monroe. Calling hours are Sunday, May 5, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe.
