

A graduate of Roger Ludlow High School, he served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Texaco and Buckley Gasoline Marketers.
He is survived by his wife, Louise and their children, Peter M. Wishneski and his wife Jennifer of Stratford, James D. Wishneski and his wife Meghan of Canton, Aileen V. Moquin and her husband Kevin of Bellingham, MA and Paul L. Wishneski and his wife Marykay of Sandy Hook, two sisters, Felicia Valus of Monroe and Barbara Wilson of Missouri and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Joseph.
One of the great joys of his life was the pleasure of his seven grandchildren; Ashley and Patrick Moquin, Henry, Emma and Jack Wishneski and Kylie and Colby Wishneski.
Larry had a lifelong love of golf and enjoyed reading and vacations on Cape Cod.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday April 14th at 10:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, 46 Church Hill Road Newtown. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery Mill Plain Road, Fairfield. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home 315 Monroe Turnpike Monroe, CT.
