Patricia S. McNamara

MCNAMARA Patricia S. McNamara, age 66, of Monroe, died peacefully and with her family at her side on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Born on October 17, 1945 in Bridgeport, she lived most of her adult life in Monroe. She was a receptionist with Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine of Trumbull before retiring to spend more time with the family that she adored. Pat loved animals and was a kind and generous person to all. She loved babysitting her grandchildren, shopping , and spending time with her sidekick, Marilyn, who was more like a sister than a cousin. Pat will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Marjorie and Robert Studley. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul; her son, Paul, and his wife, Julie McNamara, of Stormville, NY; her daughter, Jennifer McNamara Unger, and her husband, Adam Unger, of Monroe, CT; five precious grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, and Eric Unger, and Gavin and Allison McNamara, whom she loved with all of her heart; her brother, Donald Studley, and his wife, Margaret, of Newtown, CT; and her nieces, Maura, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Kate. Friends and family are invited for visitation at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 4pm 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen's Church, 6948 Main St, Trumbull, CT on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10 am.
