SASTRAM Ralph H. "Henny" Sastram Jr., age 69, of Trumbull, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, after fighting a long, courageous battle with emphysema. He was the loving son of the late Ralph H. Sastram, Sr., and Thelma Sastram. Survivors include his beloved wife, Lucille Cavoto Sastram; sons, Eric and James Sastram; sisters, Martha Porto and her husband, Carmon; Ollie Clark and sister in law Frances Sastram; a brother, William Sastram and his wife, Phyllis; many nieces and nephews; and Bonnie Sue Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas. Ralph was in the Army for 32 years, where he completed his Master’s degree in Engineering. He was employed at the Stratford Armory, the Norwalk Armory and later became a State Marshall. Ralph enjoyed and had a great passion for fishing and hunting. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 6, 2010, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home; and a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Theresa’s Church in Trumbull, on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at 11:00 am.
