Robert John Auddino (Bobby) passed away very peacefully at home on the evening of Saturday May 2, 2026 at the age of 79 directly by the side of his two faithful and devoted caregivers, surviving spouse Angela Auddino and loyal son, Christopher Auddino after a very long battle fighting numerous illnesses including cancer and having suffered a lengthy stroke.
He also leaves behind his son Robert Auddino, daughter in law Sarah Auddino, granddaughter Hannah Auddino, two brothers and many extended family.
Bobby's happiest time in life was when he was working very hard at Sikorsky Aircraft to raise his family in the picturesque, tranquil Easton, CT where he resided for 32 years, enjoying the quiet peaceful remote country life. Bobby loved food! Chocolate milk, cannoli, corn muffins and pizza were amongst his favorite delights! Bobby was a very "humble soul" and made friends with everyone he met along life's journey, he was the farthest thing from pretentious; everyone absolutely loved him! One of his greatest passions was restoring the first car he ever owned and has kept to this day, his 1964 Buick Riviera which he expects his son Robert to complete to perfection.
After several years away from Easton, he will now return "back home" to his favorite town in Connecticut to be laid to final rest at the peaceful countryside Aspetuck Cemetery in Easton, across from the Aspetuck Park where his children used to play. The cemetery, being directly located across from the Old Bluebird Inn will be a delight for Bobby as he will relish in the regular sweet aromas of corn muffins baking, fresh coffee brewing and the sweet smells of blueberry pancakes, all foods he loves!
Bobby was an amazing human being; he was the first to help a fellow soul in need along life's challenging journey and will be truly missed, but will stay forever in the hearts of all who loved him. Bobby was the "very best" Father and husband his family could ever ask for.
A "Celebration of Life" Mass will take place at Notre Dame Church in Easton, CT on Tuesday, May 12th at 11am where he and his family were parishioners for over thirty years and where his son Christopher was an altar boy. Interment to be followed immediately thereafter at the Aspetuck Cemetery.
His family has been reminded throughout Bob's arduous healthcare battle, that our time on this earth is a "very short one". This is definitely not a goodbye to Bobby, but simply, until we meet again soon up above! We will be together again soon! You are loved beyond words.
