

Robert D. LaBlanc passed away peacefully on August 13, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Stamford on February 19, 1933 to the late Dennis and Sarah LaBlanc. . Born and raised in Stamford, Mr. LaBlanc Moved to Monroe 18 years ago. He served in the Korean War as a Sargent he was also a former Deputy Fire Chief in the city of Stamford for many years. Mr. LaBlanc had many passions but his two most favorite were that he loved to fish with his brother Jerry and loved to sing with his two sons and the love of his life, his granddaughter Sophia. He was an avid lifelong Red Sox fan. Mr. LaBlanc is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Mary (Falzetti) LaBlanc and their two children Robert (Cindy) LaBlanc of Monroe, Brian (Rosanne) LaBlanc of Bedford, NY. He also leaves behind his two granddaughters Sophia LaBlanc and Autumn Hanshaw. He is also survived by his Brother Gerald LaBlanc and sister-in-law Delores. He will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 16, 2012 at 10:00 am at St Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike Monroe CT, 06468. Entombment will follow at St. Josephs Mausoleum in Putnam Cemetery 35 Parsonage Rd, Greenwich, CT 06830. There will be no calling hours.
