After graduating from UCONN in 1997, Rob pursued a career in medical sales and married his high school sweetheart. The marriage stuck, the medical sales career lasted 6 months.
At 23, Rob decided to follow his passion and pursue a career in fitness. That passion grew into his beloved company, Hybrid Athletics. Under the umbrella of Hybrid, Rob opened multiple gyms, traveled the world giving Strongman seminars, competed at elite levels competitions, designed and manufactured fitness equipment and created a community of amazing, STRONG humans.
In recent years, with the same passion he had in the creation of Hybrid, he started a new business. Private Driving Events was born out of his love of cars, FAST cars. Rob organized events so that car enthusiasts like himself could experience racetrack driving. This business resulted in a second amazing community of individuals.
Rob has a large, loving family. He is survived by his wife Lauren, son Logan and daughter Hayden. He is also survived by his parents Joseph and Donna, brothers Joe (Trisha), Justin and Steven, in-laws Gary and Pamela Masso, bother-in-laws Christopher (Andrea) and Stephen (Victoria), nephews Joe, Kyle, Kobe, Ford, Smith and Hawk, and nieces Gina, Jordan and Alexandra. He is predeceased by his son, Cooper.
Rob loved life. He loved throwing around heavy weights, fast cars, his dogs, a good meal and he especially loved his People.
