I was so sad to hear of Sharon’s passing.  Growing up next door to Sharon, John, Melinda and Melissa, I have so many fond memories of her.  Sharon had what we call chutzpah, a zest for life.  She would speak her mind but always with a sparkle in her eye and a bit of  mischievousness.  Sharon was such a good friend to my parents.  The regular walks she and my mom (and me sometimes) took around the lake together will always be a strong loving memory for me.  Sending so much love to you all at this difficult time.

I had met Sharon from St Joseph's manor in Trumbull where she used to work and I volunteered there. 
And i work at stop and shop and she would come in to shop and was always pleasant and friendly to talk to. One day she was buying ingredients to make cookies. And she said I will bring you back some...i dont live far from here. And that's what she did!! To my surprise she brought me back some and they were delicious. I remember Sharon fondly. Rest in peace. 

We were so so saddened to hear the news about Sharon.  We will always remember her with a smile on her face and full of energy and enthusiasm.  She had such a big heart and was so kind and beautiful from the inside out.  She would also make us laugh.  We will really miss her! Our hearts go out to you John, Melinda and the rest of the family.  We are praying for you for strength, comfort and peace.

I so saddened about the loss of my hometown next-door neighbor Sharon who was my 2nd mom growing up, spending many hours playing with daughters Melinda & Melissa (who also passed away 20 years ago) - photo is with my dad Art.

Sharon was a truly good person who extended her friendship easily. When I came to St. Joe’s, some of my belongings were in offsite storage. Sharon volunteered (and she volunteered John) to pick up my things and bring them to me. When she brought them in, she held up a plastic thing and asked what it was. It was Fasta pasta, one of those “as seen on tv” kitchen gadgets. I gave it to her. Apparently Sharon loved it, because every time she used it, she told me the type of pasta she made, who she made it for, and the sauce she put on it. Even  after she retired, Sharon would call or text just to let me know that Fasta pasta was still going strong. Sharon enjoyed living simply and enjoying time with family and friends. She made my life here a lot easier. Right now, Sharon is probably making angel hair pasta in her favorite plastic gadget. Love you, Sharon!

Prayers to the whole Lochsheir family. I have many years of very fond memories and laughter.  Many times while driving around town I would run into John n Sharon. We would stop n talk, we would catch up on neighborhood things and always left each of us smiling n feeling better for the encounter. I sometimes times felt guilty for holding up their exercise routine.  Most importantly their had the ability to remind me why I worked in my home town.  THANK YOU

Mrs. Lockshier was such a wonderful woman.  I have such fond memories growing up living next to her, John and the girls on GayBower Rd.  She had such a beautiful smile and would never forget a name or a face once she met you.  I remember running into her and John shopping at BigY after they walked there and spending close to an hour catching up and hearing how her daughter and grandchildren were doing.  She was so proud of the family she and John raised and it spoke volumes as to what was important to her, the good person she was and the value of family she believed in.  I have only the fondest memories of how wonderful she was.  Sending love and prayers to John and her family at this time.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Sharon was such a wonderful, special, funny and feisty woman. I have many memories of working with her at St Joseph’s Manor, and we are laughing in most of them. She was full of life  and love and brightened  the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to have known her. Sending sympathy and love to John and Miranda and all your family and friends.

Look out heaven, our super senior volunteer has arrived!  Her spunky, energetic and never ending service for others along with her quick wit will be sorely missed!  I would say rest in peace, but that’s not our Sharon, she’s a go- go-go let’s get it done kind of gal.  She believed in do it right and have some fun!  Let’s not talk about the nun outfit!  Praying for her family and friends who will forever hold you dear in our hearts!  Miss you my friend!  

Sharon was a woman who Gave, Gave, Gave to her family and everyone.  To have her gone from this Earth is painful, but knowing she is with her daughter and mom and dad is comforting.  Prayers to all of her family because the loss is unmeasurable.
