Suzanne wished to thank the entire staff of the Bennett Cancer Center at Stamford Hospital for her outstanding care. She was the daughter of the late Libby and Dr. Mel Magida, former head of internal medicine at Stamford Hospital and the sister of Amy Haskell. A mentor and confidante to her nieces and nephew, Suzanne was an important presence in their lives.
A book editor and ghostwriter by trade, she was a master of words with a highly developed intellect. She was an avid reader and an advocate for animals, providing a loving home to both cats and dogs. She was a friend to many and adored by all, always supportive and understanding. Though her life was filled with challenges, she faced them with courage, grace and dignity, creating a life that was meaningful and fulfilling. She will be remembered always for bringing love and light into the world.
