Victor C Monticollo Sr ("Duke") passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the age of 86. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Victor became a lifelong resident of Colonia NJ. He was a proud Army veteran who faithfully served his country during the Korean War. Victor worked for PSE&G for 42 years at Sewaren Generating Station. He will be remembered for his love of family, his Italian heritage and his fondness for travel.
Victor is survived by his wife of 66 years, Evelyn, and his five children : Gerard Monticollo of Medford NJ, Steven Monticollo of Edison NJ, Victor Monticollo Jr. of Howell NJ, Christopher Monticollo of Toms River and Jill Winship of Monroe, CT. Victor has 12 grandchildren of whom he was very proud.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday March 19, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Jude's Church in Monroe, CT. A repass will follow at Robertos Restaurant in Monroe, CT.
