Dan Curtiss Fore of Snohomish, Washington was born on March 24, 1937, in Brownfield, Texas to Garland and Della Fore. A farmer, a manager, a mechanic, a pilot, a lifelong student, a PhD, a pastor, a business owner, a generous servant, and a child of God, Dan went home to be with his Savior on April 23, 2023, at 14:50 P.M., after serving God for over half a century.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Deanna Fore, children, Brent Fore, Denise Trone, Kris Berger, and Stacy Thompson, sister, Jane Deane, his thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-eight great grandchildren. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Garland and Della Fore, his older sister, Dorothy Spomer and older brother Dale Fore, son-in-law, Bret Trone, and great grandson, Jackson Gilbert.
Dan and Deanna were inseparable! They loved spending time with family, attending church, traveling, and ministering together. They also really loved watching the Waltons! Dan wore many hats over the course of his 86 years, and he accomplished things that seemed impossible. But most of all, he was a man of God. He became a Christian at the age of 34 and committed his life to Christ from that day forward. His passion for ministry and people led him to become a pastor, where his love for God and others manifested itself through his generosity and graciousness. He loved the Lord and vowed to tell everyone he met about Jesus, and he embodied the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20), because of his undying love for his Savior!
His heart was so, so big, and his presence and personality filled up every empty space; it is already difficult to imagine life without him. Thank you, Daddy, for always being there for us. We love you deep.
There will be a local memorial service on, Saturday, May 6, @ 11:00 AM, at the First Baptist Church of Rose Hill, 13801 NE 80th Street, Redmond, WA 98052. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.PurdyKerr.com for the Fore family.
