Born October 7, 1937 in Jackson California he was the only child of William and Mavis Aaron. Dean grew up in Seattle Washington living in several foster homes after the divorce of his parents and the inability of his mother to care for him. In the last of these foster homes he met Pearl McClean. At 17 years old Dean enlisted in the US Air Force and married Pearl. They had 4 children during their marriage. During his time in the military Dean completed his High School GED and served one tour in Vietnam as a rescue helicopter flight engineer. Dean and his family moved several times while he was in the military.
