George Fox 75 of Sultan, Wash. died May 7,2015. George was born March 17,1940 in Iowa, he joined the navy in 1959 traveling the world. George met his wife, Doris in August 1967 they were together for 47 1/2 years. All together George and Doris have seven children, 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. He went to join his great great- granddaughter in heaven. George leaves behind his wife, Doris; as well as his sister, Sharon and brother, Martin. George served 10 years in the navy serving tours in Vietnam as a "muddy water" sailor. He was part of the Sultan V.F.W for 30+ years where he served as commander, treasure and chaplain. George was also a member of The Improved Of Red Men of Washington for approximately 20+ years where he held several offices. He loved to fish if no one could find him he was always at the river. The Memorial Service will be held at Sultan Baptist Church on 315 8th St, Sultan, WA at 5 p.m on Tuesday, May 12, 2015
