Grandpa, ever since I was a little girl I always had a dream about how I wanted my family to be & how I wanted a grandpa to be. You have by far been the best grandpa a granddaughter would want. The night we found out about the cancer, we all came to be with you and you wouldn't go rest cause you didn't want to miss the party. That was exactly my grandpa! Giving you your last haircut was the most special gift I was ever given. As tears flow down my face, it is because I'm sad but because I was given the most amazing grandfather there ever was. I love you more than words can say....xoxo until we meet again, you're granddaughter...Lindsey

Thank You for being my Dad! I remember the day you came to take me to lunch all the way in Seattle because I was going through a bad break-up in my 20's. You were so sweet to talk relationships to your dramatic twenty something daughter. I will never forget that day! I love you!

I sit here wondering whats in store for the future but I know my dad will be with me in my heart and my soul. Love you dad

My prayers are with Aunt Marie and family for comfort and healing with the loss of Uncle Jim. In my younger years I recall being close and or with Uncle Jim. In later years we talked about work and business from the top to the bottom. We both were members of the IBEW. Uncle Jim had a 60 year pin. I recall when he would stop up, have coffee, talk shop, and try to make the world a better place. Things won't be the same without him.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole Koehler family at this time. Although we have only known Jim & Marie for just a few years they both have made a huge impact in our life. We always knew what time it was when we would hear Jim fire up his truck @ 7am to go have coffee with his friends or whatever errands he had to run. There were a few times in the past couple of years I would sneak over to their drive way and shovel the snow away and make a path to his truck doors, thinking I had gotten away with not being seen I would get a Big Thank you from Jim and Marie. My wife and I always talk about how young we thought Jim was & were shocked to find out he was in his 80's because he did not act like it, we would always mention how he moved around and acted younger than our parents who are in their early to mid 60's.. Jim you will be missed greatly they say you can measure a man by his legacy and I would have to say you are a GREAT MAN!!

Being a part of the body of Christ we know that we will see each other again, In Christ there are No goodbye's and in Christ there is No end, so we'll hold on to Jesus with all that we have until we see you again.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.  I have fond memories of Aunt Marie and Uncle Jim welcoming me to their home for visits.  I pray that God holds you all close in His loving arms.

You were Mentor and someone I always looked up to and always will I miss you very much. I will carry you in my heart forever and look forward to the day we meet again in Heaven with your warm firm handshake and that great big smile and laugh. Thank you for making me feel like part of your big beautiful Family for all these years you were my rock my buddy my friend and so much more. I love you Jim and miss you very much.

Uncle Jim was the best!!   The go to guy about most anything....he had the knowledge.  Remember babysitting years ago, while Uncle Jim and Aunt Marie went to church.  We will miss you dearly.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family, and especially Aunt Marie.
