Jason, beloved Dad, partner, and son, was unexpectedly taken from us. He was preceded in death by his Dad (Gerry Martinell) and his aunt (Judy Hines). Jason is survived by his two sons (Trevor Barber and Trenten Martinell), his fiancé (Maria Naves) and his Mom (Patricia Martinell), along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Born in Mobile, AL., Jason moved to WA in 1992 with his Mom. He attended Cedarcrest HS, LWIT, and later received his diploma from Everett CC. Much of his career was in construction and Jason was a proud member of the Carpenter’s Union, Local 425.
Jason was full of life, craved the social scene, a real people person. He was giving of his time and energy. He believed in his Higher Power. At times his faith wavered but it was never lost.
His hobbies involved being around others. Jason designed, crafted, and raced RC vehicles. He promoted music venues and enjoyed acting as DJ while spinning a tune. Jason enjoyed snowboarding, camping, fishing, and even tried his hand with golf.
Jason, you are sorely missed and will forever be in our hearts.
