Lee won multiple Gardening 4 H awards and continued his passion throughout his life!
Lee loved playing football while in the U.S. Army in Honolulu, HI.
Lee was a lifetime member of the “Local 302” International Operating Engineers Union while he was a member he worked on 1962 World’s Fair as job foreman, Nathan Hale High School where his son attended, Sultan Dam Project, Trans Alaskan Pipeline Project and Seattle Metro Tunnel Project.
Lee was a devoted member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9417, American Legion Post 58 and he was a citizen of the year for Skykomish Valley.
Lee is survived by his life partner Karol A. Kiens, his son Dean Gerry and daughter Christian Stach, his sister Charlotte, by 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter and his extended family.
