Peggy Ann Wilkins,
I met her in 1965. 
I have not met a kinder, or more beautiful person since then.  Those of you who grew up around her, count your blessings.

Heaven gained one of the most amazing and selfless people you could ever have met. Peggy Ann Tuttle was a champion for those less fortunate than herself and gave endlessly to help others. I first met her when she was a para-educator at Sultan Middle School. She worked with some of the hardest students to work with, hardest to have patience with, hardest to love - and she loved them all as her own. Peggy also worked with a charity where she used her own money and helped raise money to do charitable work in South America and in other parts of the US. Students helped gather toothbrushes one year that she took to people who have never brushed their teeth before. They took glasses to places where they had none. 

Here is the last memory I have of Peggy, the last time I spent time with her. I took some students from the NJHS at SMS and met her in Snohomish. She had this grand vision of an ambulance for a people who needed it in a third-world country so they could drive supplies to people who had none. Annika Evenson and her mom were amongst the students who spent a whole day cleaning this ambulance. This is a picture with Peggy and with the couple who was going to take the ambulance. I always remember how appreciative they all were - and just how excited she was to have students give of their time to help. 

I will always remember Peggy as a colleague and friend - but also as an Angel who truly understood how to live a life worthy of being called a child of God, a true believer in Christ. Peggy passed away recently from cancer, and there is a memorial service Friday at Crosswater.
