Uncle Bob, I wish that I could be talking with you instead of typing this right now. I thought that some miracle would happen and that everything would turn out good for you. Unfortunately, our LORD had another plan for you. I am very thankful for our last visit and I will forever cherish it. I am going to miss the way that you laugh......it was a good , make you laugh kind of laugh. Uncle Bob, you will always be remembered and forever loved.

Uncle Bob, I was so sad to hear what you were going through but I thought somehow, with some miracle, you would pull through and everything would be ok. For some reason, GOD had another plan for you. I have always loved you very much and only wish that we had lived closer to see each other more often. I think about you and Dawn every single day. I know that you are in Heaven and we will see each other again someday. I'm gonna miss hearing that laugh of yours.....it was a good laugh. You will be very missed and you will always be loved and remembered.

Bob,It's hard to express the loss we feel. Over the years the four of us have done so many things together, now changed forever. So many laughs, many, many jokes, such great times and so many memories..winter drink (hot chocolate, Baileys and chocolate whipping cream)! We'll miss you so much and will never forget you. Bob you were one of a kind, a great friend, awesome hunting and fishing buddy but more then that you were a brother. We shared some good times in the woods and on the water. Every time I release an arrow or drop a line my thoughts will go back to the times we spent together. The stories I tell of our times together might be a little one sided but then you never told me your middle name was Leslie so I have some catching up to do. I miss you buddy and I know things won't be the same, but when I'm setting in my stand thinking of years past and good times had. I know you will be there with me. I was just going through some old photo albums, and found this. It brought back a wonderful flood of memories. The many summer evenings spent with Uncle Bob at Detroit Dragway. Gary, if you're reading this, I thought you'd like this one of the car you two ran. Those were the days!

Dear uncle Bob, I can't believe you are gone, I have so many memories with you. I got my ankle sliced open riding on the back of your bike when I know you told me to keep my legs out! You didn't get mad when I dropped your snowmobile in 12 inches of snow because I got scared I went to far, not to mention the endless hours of me "sneaking up those creeky stairs on Faust, trying to scare you only to realize you knew I was there, the whole time. You exposed me quietly... to Ted Nugent, Bob Seger, John Denver, Molly Hatchett and of course grandpa's Marty Robbins, Cool  water & , my fav, Ol El Paso. You meant so much to me, I hope you know you were my rock during the hardest times, I love you & cannot believe you are gone so fast! Im glad I got to come out to WA.. when I did, we had a lot of fun, I will miss you more than you will ever know, I miss your smell, & I know Dawn you are going through this more than anyone, hang on to the things that get you through, because  you will make it through this, you are so sweet, and he loved you very much, I love you as I loved him. I wish I could be there, thank God my aunt Connie is there with you, I pray for all of us daily, I know he is at home with his mom & dad , just too soon. I loved him as a brother, and will always remember him as my Fred Bear, he was the sunshine on my shoulder or, I was to him, but it always makes me cry.

I met Bob through his wife, Dawn, who I worked with. Bob was a kind man, always ready to lend a hand, and always got us laughing with his great sense of humor. You will not be forgotten. I write this with my sincere condolences to his family, his friends and all those who knew him.
