I can't believe it has almost been a year since we lost you Sean.  I have several pictures of you on my screen saver that just randomly show up and each time I see you, I feel like you are still here.  It is truly amazing to see how many people whose lives you have touched.  I am profoundly blessed that you were a part of my life, and I am deeply saddened that you will miss out on so many things that make life exciting.  I want you to know that there are 15 trees planted in your name that will be a lasting tribute to you and they will grow and stand tall and proud, just like you did.  I love you Sean.  Aunt Tami

Coming up on the 1-yr, I must confess how much I have missed you Sean, since you passed. I didn't really know you as much as my other cousins, but you are still family. I still remember the last time I saw you at the Christmas thing at your parent's house. You were wearing a t-shirt that was an extremelly offensive yet hilarious variation of Hello Kitty. Nonetheless, you got to be the best, like no one ever was. You are and will always be a Pokemon Master.

Dearest Sean, I have watched via emails, phone calls and FB postes on how terribly missed you are!  I pray the ones who love you find some healing touch from you! You & your dad have been on my case sence my son was old enough to race. Thank you is such a little thing to say. I know you are in a place that is a racers delight, I know your guiding so many people in ways we never thought possible. Sean, I knew you when you were just a baby and I watched you grow up following your dad around.  You were so active and funny.  You grew up to be such an impressive young man.  Your laughter touched everyone.  You were so unique and always surprising me.  I feel lucky to have been a part of your life and I am blessed to have had you a part of mine.  Steve and AnnMarie and Paige, you have so much to be proud of in Sean.  So many people have loved Sean and we all share a treasure trove of memories.  Sean will live on in our hearts and memories forever.  Shawnette, you had an amazing brother and also a truly good friend.  He loved you so very much. I adored Sean from the first moment I laid eyes on him.  He always made me a very proud grandmother every 23 years, 9 months, 3 day, 1 1/2 hours of his life.  Right now my heart is broken but I know with time it will start healing, but it will never be whole again.  I love you my sweet baby boy to the  moon and back.  Forever Nana

It has been years since I have seen Sean, since we were little kids running around the track watching our dads race. Even though time has separated us, there will always be those thoughts and memories. It's so hard to believe he is gone so early in life. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve and the family in the time of their loss. RIP Sean! Gone but never forgotten!

We were so shocked to hear of Sean's passing.  Sean was so young and he had so much more living and racing to do.  We are so very sorry.  No parent should have to bury their child. Our heart goes out to the Peters' family.  Race on Sean.

words can not express the pain & sorrow I feel sean was such a great young man no matter how long it had been since I last saw him he always had a smile & hug waiting.  it was so much fun growing up at the track with sean he always found a way to living things up as either our families or parents were warming up & he always had a smile on his face. it was so special to watch him race & the night he won his 1st race I dont know who was smiling more him or steve but one thing is for sure Steve was always proud of him both on & off the track. Sean even though we didn't hang much. I was jealous that you were the battlewagon.. I wished to race with you again. but your driving god's limo around now.. Although I have not seen you Steve, since we were young adults growing up, I have watched you race, and followed over the years as your son joined you at Evergreen Speedway.  I cannot imagine the loss that you and your family are gowing through.  Please know that although years separate people, our thoughts are still there.  I will pray for your and your family. Our family is praying that you will feel Gods comfort and strength during this sad and difficult time.  Sean always seemed to have a great smile and was always so polite and kind.  You raised a wonderful son that touched so many peoples lives and we will all miss him.

Sean, I don't know where to begin. I will always remember the first night i met you, when you, kenn, and i went up to the pass to play in the snow with some others that joined us. i have pictures and videos somewhere, :) the adventures, bonfires, darts, pool, parties, times at staci's all hanging out relaxing and playing zombies, etc. This is still so sureal and i don't want to believe it to this day. I know your in a real good place now though, & im just sooo happy that i got to see you that night and have the conversation we did and say how we loved eachother. <3 Im sooo darn thankful and blessed that i was apart of soo many memories with you. I am so very sorry for your loss AnnMarie, Steve, Shannett. And all the rest of the family members. I know he was a great out going positive roll model for a lot of people. I wish life was different and did not make us suffer by taking people from us and so very young. Again hugs to your entire family.

It's so hard to believe Sean is gone. I remember the first time I saw Sean. I had just started dating Noah and only 17. Sean was about 10, him and Shawnette were on quads racing each other around the house :) I wasn't sure if Steve & Annmarie were crazy, or the coolest parents on earth! I use to love going to the track and watching Sean run around driving track staff nuts. I'm sure (BEFORE the races started) I heard his name on the radios more the anything else. But you would always see the official crack a smile and Sean would bust out this great kiddish laugh, shawnette was somewhere close rolling her eyes at her brother and off they went. Once cars where started Seans eyes were glued to the track, if he saw his dad he didn't move until he was running down to watch him get a trophy. One of my favorite memories; Steve had won and the kids were still very young, Steve kneeled down and took the kids on either side. Seans arm around his dad, his fingers caught in his sisters hair in the other side. Shawnettes arm around her dad, her hand resting on her brothers shoulder. Annmarie standing in the foreground as the photo was taken. That was my first memory of not the "battlewagon" but of the "peters". Sean WAS racing. He grew up with it, in it.. But he was many more things. He was funny. He was caring. He was sweet. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin. Sean was a friend.
